MLB Amateur Draft

First round selections at the 36th Amateur Draft held June 5-7, 2000 in New York. Clubs select in reverse order of their standing from the preceding season. The worst National League team selects first in even years and the worst American League team goes first in odd years. Leagues then alternate picks throughout the rounds.
