NCAA Division III

Sixty-four teams played into the 32-team Division III field. The four sectional winners: ATLANTIC— William Paterson, N.J. (19-10); NORTHEAST— Connecticut College (27-0); SOUTH— Hampden-Sydney. (28-2); MIDWEST— Wisconsin-Platteville (28-2).

The Final Four was played March 19-20, at Salem Civic Center in Salem, Va.
