ENSERCH EXPLORATION MAY WRITE DOWN ASSETS AT END OF 1997'S FIRST QUARTER Enserch Corp., which owns 83% of Enserch Exploration Inc., says that recent natural gas and crude oil price declines may force the independent producer to write down its assets at the end of the first quarter under the full-cost accounting method.
