1998 NHL Draft

First and second round selections at the 36th annual NHL Entry Draft held June 27, 1998, in Buffalo. The order of the first 11 positions were determined by a draft lottery held May 10 in New York. Positions 12 through 27 reflect regular season records in reverse order.
