Born: April 2, 1945
Baseball RHP

won 324 games and tossed 58 shutouts in his 23-year career; recorded NL record five career 1-hitters; lost 13 straight games to the Cubs–a major league record for consecutive losses to one team; played with Dodgers, Astros, Brewers, Athletics, Angels and was a 4-time All-Star; elected to Hall of Fame in 1998.
