Cynthia Cooper Born: April 14, 1963 Women's basketball G
won two NCAA basketball titles at USC (1983-84); won gold medal with U.S. team in 1988; 2-time WNBA MVP and 4-time league champion with Houston Comets; coach of WNBA's Phoenix Mercury 2001-02. Returned as player to Houston in 2003 but played only 4 games before a torn rotator cuff tendon sidelined her.
