Doug Flutie Born: Oct. 23, 1962 Football QB
Boston College QB who threw famous 48-yard “Hail Mary” to defeat Miami on Nov. 23, 1984; 1984 Heisman Trophy winner; has played in USFL, NFL and CFL; 6-time CFL MVP with B.C. Lions (1991), Calgary 1992-94) and Toronto (1996-97); led Calgary (1992) and Toronto (1996-97) to Grey Cup titles.
