Sailing

3-time America's Cup-winning skipper aboard Freedom (1980), Stars & Stripes (1987) and the Stars & Stripes catamaran (1988); only American skipper to lose Cup, first in 1983 when Australia II beat Liberty and again in '95 when New Zealand's Black Magic swept Conner and his Stars & Stripes crew aboard the borrowed Young America.
