Sondra Locke actress, director
Born: 5/28/1947
Birthplace: Shelbyville, Tennessee
After her film debut in The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter (1968), for which she was nominated for an Oscar, Locke became well known for her roles in numerous movies with Clint Eastwood, who was long her boyfriend. Their films together included Every Which Way but Loose (1978) and Sudden Impact (1983). Locke stepped into the role of film director with Ratboy (1986), Impulse (1990), Death in Small Doses (1994), and Trading Favors (1997).
