Frank Zappa

Grammy Award-winning rock musician remembered for his complex, virtuosic musical satires. He formed The Mothers of Invention in 1964, and the band specialized in experimental music, surreal comedy and high-tech light shows. Zappa's recordings include Freak Out! (1966), Hot Rats (1969), and Jazz From Hell (1988).
