Show-all director Ridley Scott and adrenaline-fiend producer Jerry Bruckheimer team up to create Black Hawk Down, a stunningly violent and politically inept movie about American soldiers fighting Muslims.Black Hawk Down is based on a nonfiction account of the 1993 U.S. Army incursion in Mogadishu, Somalia, that resulted in the worst American losses since Vietnam. Scott enlists Pearl Harbor veteran Josh Harnett to head the unit of strong white men fighting the black Somalian masses who are portrayed without dignity or even individual characteristics.

Black Hawk Down attempts to beat viewers senseless, knowing full well it's the only way they can enjoy such carnage without conscience.
