Scrubs

There haven't been all that many hospital sitcoms, even fewer have been successful. Scrubs takes a hilarious, realistic look at life as a first-year intern. Braff, with his deer-in-the-headlights expression, nails his role as J.D., a medical intern who's all heart—and thumbs. He finds that he's way down on the food chain compared to his buddy, surgical intern Chris (Faison). The absence of a laugh track makes for a refreshing change.
