Belushi and Thorne-Smith play a married, working-class suburban couple with three young children, well four if you count Belushi. There's absolutely no chemistry between the couple, but the show managed to get picked up for the entire season. Thorne-Smith's Cheryl used to date executives but gave up the glitz and glamour for a simple life with a big, lovable husband. One can only suspend disbelief for so long.
