Digimon: The Movie

Digimon: The Movie, as a movie, relies upon a single factor for success: preteen parental sway. Put another way, this movie doesn't offer anything that the TV show it is based on doesn't, except the price of a ticket. Were it not for kids' ability to plead for admission, there's no reason why this movie wouldn't function better as a babysitter night rental.

Digimon concerns human children and digital monsters teaming up to fight a lethal internet virus. Its dubbed script and Japanese animation reveal market-driven haste. For further details, please consult the nearest 6 year old.
