The Whole Nine Yards| Director: | Jonathan Lynn | | Writer: | Mitchell Kapner | | Warner Bros.; R; 100 minutes | | Release: | 2/00 | | Cast: | Bruce Willis, Matthew Perry, Rosanna Arquette |
It's a dog-eat-dog world in The Whole Nine Yards, a comedy about hit men and women where even the hunky dentist, Oz (Matthew Perry), is hiring somebody to kill somebody else. His wife (Rosanna Arquette), for example, has a contract out on him, although since Oz has befriended thug neighbor Jimmy the Tulip (Bruce Willis), her murderous wishes may not come to fruition. That's just the beginning. A gaggle of other contract killers are involved in this successful comedic romp through subplots and suburban comfort.
