Best known for her title role in the new WB series Felicity (1998–2002), Russell has been on the fringes of stardom for years now. She appeared in The Mickey Mouse Club (1993–95) on Disney before branching out to roles in several failed television series. She enjoyed fleeting appearances in Emerald Cove (1993), Daddy's Girls (1994), Aaron Spelling's Malibu Shores (1996), and Roar (1997), all canceled within their first season. Fortunately, her forays onto the big screen have been less disastrous, with roles in Honey, I Blew Up the Kid (1992), The Curve (1998), and Mad About Mambo (2000).
