Waking Ned Devine

Cute meets too-cute in this breezy Irish comedy. Ned's dead, and he holds (held) the winning lottery ticket in a remote hamlet with only 52 residents. Two scheming senior citizens decide to impersonate the deceased in hopes of getting the money. Turns out that they need the rest of Tulaigh Mohr's residents to play along. Resulting escapades form the silly bulk of Waking. The Full Monty's success suggested that British male nudity can and should be used for full-effect, and Waking's first-time director Kirk Jones agrees (70 year olds shot from behind).
