Highly successful supermodel whose striking good looks have launched a thousand products and graced a thousand magazines. Evangelista, widely quoted as saying, “I wouldn't get out of bed for under $10,000 a day,” was instrumental in raising the pay scale for topflight models through a Supermodel's Union. She has been romantically linked with the actor Kyle MacLachlan, who went from notoriety for his quirky role in David Lynch's show Twin Peaks (1990) to obscurity after his role in Showgirls (1995).
