Lee Van Cleef actor Born: 1/9/1925 Birthplace: Somerville, New Jersey
With the ideal looks for a villain, Van Cleef found himself typecast as the heavy in crime stories, westerns, and action films. He played in a number of Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns such as The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (1966). His other credits include High Noon (1952), The Big Combo (1955), How the West Was Won (1962), For a Few Dollars More (1966), and Escape from New York (1981). Died: 12/14/1989
