Birthplace: Dublin, Ireland
Television, stage, and film actor who began his career on British television after several years on the stage. He became a recurring character on Star Trek—The Next Generation (1987–94), and then moved with his character to the follow up series, Star Trek—Deep Space Nine (1993–1999). He has appeared in several films including The Commitments (1991), The Snapper (1993), The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill and Came Down a Mountain (1995), Owd Bob (1997), Con Air (1997), Monument Ave. (1998), Claire Dolan (1998), and This is My Father (1998).
