Dead Man on Campus

The first MTV Films feature may well be the last — or at least it should be judging from this lackluster adolescent comedy. Two college freshman, one a straight-laced pre-med student, Josh (Scott), and his undoing, party-to-you-drop rich boy Cooper (Gosselear), plan to redeem themselves academically by recruiting a third roommate who's on the verge of suicide. You see, there's a rule at their school that if one's roommate dies, the survivor gets all As. The three candidates include a hyperactive frat boy (Munro), a computer geek (Pearlstein) and a death rocker (Page).
