PI

Aronofsky's feature debut is a sophisticated thriller about a genius named Max Cohen (Gullette) who is obsessed with deciphering a number sequence he believes will explain the universe. Filmed in black and white with a trippy techno soundtrack, π is a frenetic exploration of mysticism and madness.
