Helen Shaver

This seductive blonde actress graced a number of films of the 1980s, playing opposite Paul Newman in The Color of Money (1986), Dudley Moore in The Best Defense (1984), and Tommy Lee Jones in the TV film The Park Is Mine (1986). She was especially outstanding as the college professor in Desert Hearts (1985). Other films include The Wishing Tree (1999). Shaver has also done a stint of directing for the TV series Judging Amy, The District, The Outer Limits and Poltergeist: The Legacy (1996), in which she also starred. She appeared with Richard Dreyfus in the television series The Education of Max Bickford, (2001–2002).
