Shirley Jones actress, signer Born: 3/31/1934 Birthplace: Smithton, Pennsylvania
Perky blonde actress who got her start playing in Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals. She appeared in the film versions of Oklahoma! (1955) and Carousel(1956) before winning an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Elmer Gantry (1960). She branched out into comedies and dramas later in the '60s then moved to television to star with her stepson David Cassidy in the Partridge Family (1970–74). Much of her later career has consisted of forgettable television roles.
