Radiohead

musicians

Once named On A Friday, the members of Radiohead used to only play together during school vacations. After graduating from college they reunited and renamed the band after a Talking Heads song. Radiohead's debut album, Drill (1992), was a mild hit that sparked invitations to open for other bands. The single “Creep” got lots of play both in England and the United States, and was later named the top British single. Two albums, The Bends (1995) and OK Computer (1997), followed, the latter debuting at No. 1 in the U.K. Current Radioheads are: Phil Selway, drums; Ed O'Brien, vocals, guitar; Thom Yorke, guitar; Colin Greenwood, bass; and Jonny Greenwood, guitar and keyboard.
