Michael Ontkean

A former child actor, Ontkean gained fame for his role in the TV police drama The Rookies (1972–74). He created a memorable character as the police chief in David Lynch's quirky TV series Twin Peaks (1990–91) and has appeared in several movies, including Slap Shot (1977, with Paul Newman) and Postcards from the Edge (1990).
