Leading actress whose career has survived the Hollywood potholes of addiction, over-publicized marriages, and (sometimes) ill-chosen projects. The daughter of actress Tippi Hedren of Alfred Hitchcock's classic movie The Birds (1963), Griffith captured attention in sexually charged roles in Body Double (1984) and Something Wild (1986), then later won the Golden Globe and was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her comedic turn in Working Girl (1988). She has also appeared in Cecil B. DeMented (2000) and Forever Lulu (2000). Griffith is currently married to the actor Antonio Banderas, who directed her in Crazy in Alabama (1999), and she was twice married to television actor Don Johnson.
