Steven Bochco

television producer, writer
Born: 12/16/1943
Birthplace: New York City

A television screenwiter and story editor during the 1970's, he later created the highly successful Emmy Award-winning dramatic series Hill Street Blues (1981–89) and LA Law (1986–94), which featured ensemble acting and overlapping, ongoing plot lines. His other include Doogie Howser, M.D. (1989–93), NYPD Blue (1993–), Murder One (1995–97), Brooklyn South (1997–98), and City of Angels (2000–present).
