McCanlies's directorial debut is a slice-of-life tale set in Texas ranch country. Four high school grads (Facinelli, Mills, Meyer and Embry) grapple with whether to stick to their small-town roots or high-tail it for the big-city dreams of L.A. This is an engaging male-bonded quartet, but McCanlies's story has about as much drama and direction as a tumbleweed.
