Best known as the creator and producer of NBC's Saturday Night Live (1975–80, 1985– ), Michaels has also produced films such as Wayne's World (1992), Coneheads (1993), and Lassie (1994). His other TV production credits include The New Show (1984), Sunday Night (1987–90), and Late Night with Conan O'Brien (1993– ). He is the recipient of 8 Emmy Awards.
