Daniel Meenan

After World War II, Meenan began his career as a crime reporter in New York for The Daily News . He later signed on with a local TV station, WPIX-TV, producing an award-winning report on the sinking of the Andrea Dorea in 1956. Meenan joined the staff of New York's WMCA radio in the late 1950s and worked as a news reporter until his retirement in 1988.
