The grandson of Jackie Gleason and the son of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Jason Miller, it was logical for Patric to enter the family business. Patric's first notable role was in the ABC drama, Toughlove (1985). He made his film debut when he co-stared with Kiefer Sutherland in The Lost Boys (1987). He has since acted in several films, including After Dark, My Sweet (1990), Rush (1992), Western Geronimo: An American Legend (1993), and Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997). He established the production company, Fleece Productions.
