Songs like “Here You Come Again” and “Two Doors Down” have made Parton one of the most famous country singers alive. Parton's acting debut was in the film 9 to 5 (1980), which earned her an Academy Award nomination and a Grammy for the title song. Her other film credits include Steel Magnolias (1989) and The Best Little Whore House in Texas (1982). Parton has also developed a $100-million entertainment enterprise, which includes her theme park, Dollywood.
