Klaus Maria Brandauer actor, director Born: 6/22/1944 Birthplace: Bad Aussee, Austria
A successful international star, he first gained acclaim for his performance as an ambitious young actor in Mephisto (1981). He has also appeared as the evil Largo in the James Bond movie Never Say Never Again (1983) and as Isak Dineson's rakish husband in Out of Africa (1985). His other movies include White Fang (1991) Becoming Colette (1992) and Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (1999).
