Owen Bradley (Williams Owen Bradley) record producer Born: 10/21/1915 Birthplace: Westmoreland, Tennessee
One of country music's pioneers, he opened the first recording studio on Nashville's Music Row in 1955 and went on to produce hits with such country music giants as Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Buddy Holly, k.d. lang, and Conway Twitty. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1971. Died: 1/7/1998
