Jackie Coogan actor Born: 10/26/1914 Birthplace: Los Angeles
Actor whose role at the age of seven in The Kid with Charlie Chaplin made him a childhood star. Though he was worth a fortune, the young Coogan was never given any of the money, a scam that led to the passage of legislation to protect child actors, known as the “Coogan Law”. As an adult, Coogan was best known for his comic role as Uncle Fester on the 1960s TV show, The Addams Family (1964–66). He was married briefly to Betty Grable. Died: 3/01/1984
