Award-winning journalist whose assignments included the 1957 desegregation of Central High in Little Rock, Arkansas for the Chicago Sun-Times and Russia's first flight into space for NBC in Moscow. Chancellor hosted the Today show (1961–62) and later served as an anchor for NBC Nightly News (1970–82). Died: 7/12/1996
