Formed in 1988, this rock and roll band achieved commercial success in the 1990s with a blend of industrial sonics, pop conventions, heavy-metal aggression, and dance-club rhythms. Current members include bandleader Trent Reznor, Clarlie Clouser, and Danny Lohner. Albums include The Downward Spiral Nothing (1994), Pretty Hate Machine (1989). Singles include: “Closer To God”, “March of the Pigs” (both 1994), and “Sin” (1990).
