A stage and screen actor known for his boyish looks, he appeared in The Little Minister (1934) with Katharine Hepburn and I Am the Law (1938) with Edward G. Robinson. Some of his other movies include Laddie (1935), Double Wedding (1937), and Ten Who Dared (1960). He also has made guest appearances in television dramas such as The Waltons.
