Agnes Moorehead actress Born: 12/6/1900 Birthplace: Clinton, Massachusetts
A character actress of considerable range, Moorehead worked in radio in the 1930s. At the invitation of Orson Welles she played in Citizen Kane (1941) and The Magnificent Ambersons (1942), winning acclaim for both performances. She received four Academy Award nominations. Moorehead became well known to a younger generation for her role as Endora in the TV series Bewitched (1964–72). Died: 4/30/1974
