Elizabeth Ashley (Elizabeth Cole) actress Born: 8/30/1939 Birthplace: Ocala, Florida
A leading Broadway actress of the 1960s, she won a Tony Award for her performance in Take Her, She's Mine (1962). Since 1971 she's appeared mainly in supporting roles in movies. Her films include Ship of Fools (1965), Rancho Deluxe (1975), 92 in the Shade (1975), The Great Scout and Cathouse Thursday (1976), Dragnet (1987) and Just the Ticket (1999). She turned to television work as Freida on Evening Shade (1990–94).
