The creators of Party of Five left behind the family unit to delve into unchaperoned territory in this Gen-X drama about a close (read: incestuous) group of friends. Storylines dabble in career angst, commitment phobia, not-so platonic relationships and other mid-20s crises. Despite an engaging cast and some dramatic hooks, Significant Others failed to capture a solid chunk of the PO5 market fast enough for Fox execs, who dumped the show after episode three.
