Like Martha Stewart, whom the show obviously and lightheartedly satirizes, style expert Chelsea Stevens (Smart) oversees a media empire that includes a television show, books and magazines, though her personal life is a not model of domestic bliss. Chelsea's new producer, Jane Sokol (McKeon), tries to soften the painfully arrogant Chelsea and make her more likable.
