Home Alone 3 has one thing going for it: Macauley Culkin is out of the picture. Unfortunately, the new moppet star, Linz, has even less talent than the towhead who, of late, has been in court more than he's been in the movies. Home from school with the chicken pox, techno wiz Alex (Linz) spots a group of burglars invading his neighbors' homes. He call the police, only to be scorned for calling in false alarms. The burglars are a group of international terrorists who are trailing a deadly microchip they lost in an airport mishap. Alex booby traps his house with high-tech gadgetry that lures the villains into one trap after another. The names and faces may have changed, but the story remains the same.
