Tyrone Power actor Born: 5/5/1914 Birthplace: Cincinnati, Ohio
Film and stage actor known for his roles as a romantic swashbuckler. Power's spectacular good looks and good nature may have caused him to be underrated as an actor during his career and after. He worked against his leading-man image in movies such as The Razor's Edge (1946) and The Sun Also Rises (1957). Power's other films include Mark of Zorro (1940), Nightmare Alley (1947) and Witness for the Prosecution (1957). Like his father, Power died while on a movie set. Died: 11/15/1958
