Sara DaleThree Chords and the Truth The title song's conceit may be as corny as Kansas, but Dale is a born pro plucked from the stages of Branson, Missouri. This is one lively debut. With Dwight Yoakum's producer, Pete Anderson, at the helm, Dale's fashioned a world for herself out of not much more than three chords, and it seems to be working. She could very well be Dwight's younger honky-tonk sister and, with more vocal strength than Mr. D., that makes for some great, imaginative sibling rivalry. Sure, she pushes too far in places. Ever hear of a promising young Irish talent named Sinead? — Tim Riley
