Filmed in 1990, Operation Condor doesn't quite measure up to Chan's more recent outings like First Strike. (But the date does explain why World War II is referred to as an event of 40 years ago.) Don't be mistaken, Operation Condor offers a thrill a minute, thanks to Chan's boyish charm and fancy footwork. As in all Chan films, plot is secondary to the action, but there is a mission to complete: The United Nations hires secret agent Jackie (Chan) to retrieve 240 tons of gold hidden in the Sahara by Nazis just after WWII. Joining him are U.N. attaché Ada (Cheng) and the bombshell granddaughter of the Nazi who buried the gold (de Garcia). Jackie and the girls aren't the only ones in pursuit of the treasure, and it's a battle to the end.
