Pesci is a great supporting player, but he just can't carry a movie. Here, he tries to compensate for a weak script by overdoing his deranged hit man Tommy Spinelli. As a result, Spade steals the show. That alone hints at the quality of Heads. En route to presenting the title noggins as evidence for a job well done, an inevitable baggage mix-up has Spinelli's luggage in the hands of a medical student (Comeau), who's headed to Mexico for vacation with his girlfriend (Swanson) and her parents (Cannon and Hamilton). Many predictable histrionics follow.
