A dark comedy with a heavy-handed streak of pathos. Terminally ill Roseanna (Ruehl) has one dying wish: to be buried next to her young daughter in the local cemetery. But the cemetery is nearly full, so her husband (Reno) dashes about town, trying to keep everyone alive — even those in worse shape than his wife.
