A chilling allegorical Nordic adventure, about the power struggle between a poet and a hulking trapper. Set in 1926 Greenland, Norwegian poet Larsen (Eidsvold) leaves behind his girlfriend (Martens) to work as a fur trapper for a year. The sensitive poet is not prepared for the brutality he encounters in one of his roommates, Randbaek (Skarsgard). When they find themselves in a life-or-death situation, Larsen is shocked to discover a side of himself that's just as cold-blooded as Randbaek is.
